Similiar games

The game yu-gi-oh master duel fully corresponds to the original card game. All the basic mechanics are retained here, as well as the innovations released in the add-ons. The game uses its own list of restricted and banned cards, independent from the list of the real collectible card game.

How to get cards

As in the original card game, the gachapon format is used here. This principle consists of getting new cards in sets of sets. They can be acquired with the help of gems received for completing tasks and tickets. They can also be done with purchased gems, which have the same pool as free gems. Gems can be exchanged for different types of sets. One set contains 8 cards. Buying a dozen sets at a time guarantees a very rare card or a higher denomination card. If none of these are ultra rare, the next set of 10 cards from the same set will be upgraded to a guaranteed ultra rare card. Structured decks containing fixed lists of cards can be purchased for 500 jewels. This can be done up to three times per game. Packs also allow the player to buy boosters with a set of cards as a bonus. Gems can also be spent on items for gameplay customization, field designs, card protection, profile icons, and backgrounds for the main menu.

Additional features

Unlike the actual game, cards can be broken down into crafting points, categorized by the technical rarity of the card and the amount invested. It is determined by visual rarity. The points gained can then be used to create cards and decks that better suit the duelist. Obtaining certain SR or UR rarity cards can unlock hidden sets called “Secret Packs”. These contain most cards of the same archetype or theme. The player can purchase them for jewelry. This approach will allow a deck to be assembled very quickly. Accordingly, deck building is simplified. A glossary of ready-made decks is available here, allowing newcomers to better understand the basic principles.
